Professional, Personalized Pilates

Pilates en Pointe is an independently owned and operated, boutique Pilates studio, specializing in Reformer/Mixed Equipment Personal Private Pilates sessions, Semi-Private sessions, and Small Group classes.  We are located in the Olive Chapel Professional Park, off Olive Chapel Rd., between Routes 55 and 540. It is also close to 64, Publix, Beaver Creek Commons, and many of Apex's favorite neighborhoods. Our studio is new, modern, clean, and outfitted with top of the line Balanced Body Pilates equipment. We do not just teach exercise classes, but help you to understand your body, how it moves, and what you can do to for it to reach it's maximum potential and feel its best!

Our Mission is to provide the highest quality, individualized, and safest Pilates instruction to everyBODY. Our instructors have a passion for Pilates and helping each individual reach their personal fitness goals by constantly challenging, and safely progressing them through the Pilates exercise system. What sets us apart is our individualized approach! EveryBODY is different, so even in small group classes, you will receive individualized attention on form and alignment to make sure you are always working right for your body and benefiting the most from your workout. We do not pack people into classes, but keep it small and personal. We like to build relationships with our clients and celebrate each person's progress and successes! 

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a system of exercises created by Joseph Pilates, and is  performed on the mat and specially designed equipment using springs that give resistance and assistance to the body.  Pilates will strengthen and tone every muscle in the body, increase mobility and flexibility, create balanced muscle, improve posture and alignment, enhance balance and coordination, and alleviate back and joint pain. The deep mindful breathing and smooth lengthening movements of Pilates, will also reduce stress. With a focus on breathing, core strength, neutral spine, pelvic stability, and spinal mobility, Pilates will transform your life and overall health! The Pilates system includes exercises for every part of the body, and applications for every kind of activity. The workout is safe and low impact, making it a good fit for everyBODY!

Pilates may sound intimidating, but it truly is a workout that anyone can do no matter your shape, size, or physical condition. It is an accessible way to build core strength for better posture, balance, and flexibility. While walking on a treadmill or lifting weights can be a mindless task, Pilates requires concentration to perform exercises with precision. This mind-body connection is important and brings awareness to to things like how we sit, stand, walk, and perform our daily activities. With over 500 exercises and multiple apparatuses to work on, the workout is never boring and can meet the needs of any client. 

 

All new clients must start with the "New Client Special": two Intro Privates.
